Dressed in dark colours, the man was a shadow traversing the wooden plains. His icy blue eyes scanned the surrounding like a hawk searching for its pray... only for him to misplace his foot fall face first onto the hard ground. With a groan the assassin lifted himself up and carefully touches his tender face, looking for any sign of injury. Luckily he only had a bump on his forehead. “Ouch...” uttered Edmond as a blush adorned his cheeks. “Stupid tree root, making me fall like that,” continued the man with a heated glare directed towards said tree root. With that slight mishap forgotten and never to be mentioned mentioned in a million years ever, Edmond continued in his foraging. It was then that he saw it, proud and majestic and hopefully his dinner for the night! A stag grazing peacefully in a clearing was such an easy target for Master Stealth as himself. With nary a sound to his steps, Edmond grabbed one of his twin daggers and carefully edged his way towards the Stag. When he was near the animal however, it startled began to rush away only to let pass an arrow from the other side of the stag that plunged into his shoulder. With a grunt the assassin fell back due to the force of the impact. Truly it was not his lucky day! “Somebody should watch where they fire an arrow! It could take an eye out!” yelled the white haired man sarcastically to his assailant. |
