Two theifs were running along a path through the forest headed for the Hidden Leaf Village. Looks of absolute terror were plastered on their face as they ran hoping to find sanctuary in the village. A wall of rock suddnely shot up causing one of the theifs to slam into knocking him out cold as well as making him drop his loot. The other came to a screeching halt as a shadow loomed before him and he looked up to see a flash of yellow eyes before his world went dark.
"You guys are no fun at all," came a voice now. From the shadows Raiden emerged dusting off his jounin vest as well as his clothes. He didn't need to use his Yajuu on them but it was always fun to scare the living daylights of criminals. He grabbed them by the scruffs of their shirts and dragged them along as he walked. He soon reached the city gates and dropped the two thiefs with a wave before entering downtown. A growl of his stomach caused him to smile sheepishly. "Man am I hungry after that transformation but whose complaining eh? I could hit that popular noodle shop but why pay for it. I'm sure my sister-in- law would love to cook something up for her favorite brother-in-law!" He chuckled lightly and headed in the direction of their home. He soon came to it and glanced around as he walked up the path to the front door. They sure had a nice place for the family while he had his little apartment. He then approached the front door and gave it a few loud knocks now.

Daitaro was in his room with his Icha Icha book open. He giggled a few times at the joke that was being made. Of course this was him on his day off, with nothing to do but help his mother out around the home, but she was off to visit another women from their clan for that day, so I was just him and his younger siblings. He was in charge and was suprised Koji didn't come to challenge Daitaro like he normally does. And that made Daitaro happy, he actually got some quiet time.
He then looked up from his book to hear a knock at the door. "Hey! Ren go get the door!" Daitaro yelled back, waiting to hear her footsteps leave her room. "No, I'm busy cleaning my room!" Ren yelled back making Daitaro roll his eyes as he jumped out of his bed. He walked down the stairs wondering who could be visiting them at this time.
Daitaro slowly opened the door and smiled big to see who it was. "Ah! Hey there Uncle BigBear!" Daitaro moved out of the way so he could allow the big man inside. "What brings you here?"

It didn't take long for the front door to open and he smiled upon seeing it was his favorite nephew Daitaro. He entered when Daitaro stepped aside and stopped to glance around now. "Well I just finished up my last mission so I thought I'd drop in and say hello," Raiden replied with a sheepish grin on his face now. He then glanced around scratching his goatee before looking at Daitaro. "Did you get my gift yet y'know the book I sent? I know your mother doesn't like you reading that smut but your old enough to make your own decisions right?" He chuckled lightly now then walked into the kitchen. He spotted some fruit and grabbed an apple before walking back out to Daitaro.
"So is Shido or your mother home. I was hoping to stay a few days to spend time with my nieces and nephews y'know!" He then patted Daitaro on the back a few times. "So how you been kid? Hear your mother is pregnant again. Your father thinks I should settle down but I just haven't found that special flower yet!" He could heard commotion upstairs and smiled. "Hey come visit your uncle Bigbear kids!" He yelled out now smiling sheepishly

Daitaro laughed haertedly. "Yeah? I got the day off so I could start reading the book you got me!" His smile was bigger. "Mom has good intentions. She just got to me late." He chuckled following his uncle into the kitchen. "No both are out of the house at the moment." Daitaro sat down and looked up at this uncle as he started to eat the apple he took from the bowel his mother put out that morning. "That's sweet how you want to stay awhile." He nodded.
Daitaro laughed as he patted his back. "Yep, getting another child in this house." He sighed, not feeling excited about this next child. It made him wonder how they'll grow up in this household of ninjas and whether they'll become one themselves. "Hey, if you haven't found the right girl don't listen to dad." Daitaro shrugged, of course if Shido was home, that would've gotten Daitaro and him into a fight.
Daitaro then heard footsteps from the second floor. And then there were laughing from his younger siblings. "Hey there Uncle." Ren ran up to him and gave him a hug. Koji jumped up and down, smiling big, excited to see his uncle. "Hi Uncle BigBear!" He also tried to get included into the hug as well.
Daitaro sighed and watched his siblings. How could he want to disband from all of this. His eyes wandered up to the ceiling, it was boring and unexciting, that why. Daitaro needed to move on but he couldn't find his chance yet.

"Yeah it's a shame I heard the writer was killed or something," Dashe replied. He munched on his apple some more. Glancing around the kitchen he smiled nodding his head a little. His brother had done nice for himself and his family. The idea of settling done was nice but he didn't see himself doing it anytime soon unless he found the right one. He was just a free spirit right now and enjoyed doing his own thing but he did want a companion to share his time with. "Ah I see. I'm sure your mother will be glad to see me. Your father is a different story!' He chuckled lightly and set his half eaten apple down on the counter smiling sheepishly. He looked over at Daitaro when he confirmed his mother was pregnant and noticed he wasn't too thrilled about it.
"Bout time for you to get out of this house aint Daitaro. There's always a spare room at my apartment you can use. You can do your own thing I don't mind y'know. Just let me know first if your bringing a date or something and I'll clean up a litlle bit!" His apartment was a bit of a mess right now but he was usually busy so he couldn't clean it up right away. He wrapped an arm around Daitaro and chuckled lightly at his comment. His father was always pressuring him to because he felt it might make him grow up more. He was happy the way he was and whatever chick he dated would have to accept that.
He then heard footsteps come running down the stairs and spotted Ren who immediately proceeded to hug him. She was soon joined by his little nephew Koji. he knelt down hugging them both while patting their backs. "And how are you two? I heard you just got a team Ren!" He grinned sheepishly patting their backs again before releasing them.

Daitaro nodded slowly about his comment on the writer of the series. "Ha! Dad might be cautious, but he could be happy to see you." He smirked at the thought of when his parents will come home. "Thanks for the invite, I'll take it into concideration. I think it would be good to get away from the parents and get out on my own." Daitaro stood up going to the sink to get himself a glass of water.
"We're doing good." Both Ren and Koji said after Raiden let them go. Ren then gave the victory sign and a wink. "Yep! I'm so totally on my own team!" She said in an excited voice. "I can't wait until we go out on adventures." She looked up with twinkling eyes.
Daitaro sighed and rolled his eyes setting his glass down. "They're missions not adventures." Ren glared his way but he understood where she stood at, he was in her shoes many years ago.

"Heh yeah that sounds like Shido alright," Raiden replied with a smile. Shido had always believed in him even when he had lost hope after Angelica's death. Even after he had crashed his wedding and gotten into a fight with him. Things had never changed between them at least not much had. "Yeah at some point you gotta cut the cord and get out on your own. Only then will you find out what your truely capable of!" He then picked his apple back up and finished it off before tossing it into the trashcan. He then looked back at Koji and Ren again.
"Both of you have grown so big. Maybe one day you'll be as big as me Koji heh." He petted both on the head smiling sheepishly now. He then looked at Ren and smirked patting her head some more. "I'm sure your father and mother must be so proud I know I am. You'll have plenty of missions some might be boring and some might be hard but they all teach you somethign valuable and with the right sensei you'll achieve anything you set your mind to. I hope to have my own team soon!" He glanced away briefly a saddened expression on his face now. His team had all died that night on that mission where they were ambushed. That would forever be burned into his memories. He had been so broken up about it he had missed their funeral service.

Daitaro nodded slowly at his mention of cutting the strings. He had been meaning to get out of the house but the sense of being around the family was like a chain and ball to his leg, maybe this was his time to move on. "I'll think about it." He smiled at Raiden, he looked over at Koji who climbed up on a chair and swinging his legs around after getting patted on the head. "Yep! I hope to beat big brother in height. Daitaro chuckled.
"I don't know... I"m still kind of on the short side." Ren sighed and crossed her arms. She then smiled as she heard her uncle that he was proud of her. "Father's still uncertain about my skills and mom's just being mom." Ren tilted her head to see his sad face, of course there could be things that she could be oblivious to but she could get serious when she wanted to. She looked at Daitaro who shook his head, letting her know not to ask. He knew something was up with Raiden, but he never knew what. "I hope you get your own team, too." She smiled big for him.

"Great and you know where I live so come visit anytime you want," Raiden replied. He grinned sheepishly scratching his goatee. He then glanced at Koji and chuckled his comment about beating Daitaro at height advantage. "I'll hold you to it you little squirt but you got stiff competition neither Ren or Daitaro like to lose!" He then grabbed a stool and sat down at the counter pulling Koji into his lap and giving him a little noogie on the head before releasing him. He looked over at Ren when she sighed and grinned sheepishly again.
"You still got time to grow Ren and if you don't well no harm done. Height doesn't make you special it's what's inside that counts." He then set Koji down and leaned against the counter eyeing the fruit and grabbing a banana this time peeling it. "Yuuko hasn't changed much huh? She'll wring my neck when she sees me I bet. I hope I have your support if I need back-up should you choose to accept this mission of course!" He then chuckled and took a bite of his banana now. He smiled at Ren's comment about him getting a team soon. "As long as I don't get some stuck up brats I think I'll be fine. I need some kids like Daitaro here who are serious and don't kid around about training but know how to have fun as well!"

Koji squirmed in Raiden's arms until he let Koji go. "No noogie!" He held onto his head, showing a pout. Ren nodded slowly about what her uncle said about her height. All three watched him go for another piece of fruit, if their mother was there she would've swat his hand and tell him to let others have some fruit as well. When Raiden said the word mission, a fire could be seen in their eyes, the mission was accept.
Daitaro smiled and snorted. Most people would say he was too serious when he was on a mission, but he knew he had to get things done. "Well 12 year olds can't always be serious like me." He sighed and looked at Ren who sat down. When she noticed he was looking at her she jerked her head back and narrowed her eyes. Daitaro laughed and then sighed. "You aren't serious." Ren opened her mouth in protest throwing her arms around.
The front door then opened and both voices of the parents could be heard. "They're so stuck up sometimes." Shido sighed out, the kids imagned him rubbing the back of his neck, getting rid of the stress. "Well honey, they are apart of the clan plus they just wanted to see how I was doing along with my pregnancy.
"They shouldn't be concerned. This is your fourth child. Look at our three, we did great with them." They walked into the kitchen and stop dead in their track to see Raiden was there. Yuuko's jaw dropped and then turned into an excited smile while Shido chuckled, either from annoyance or happiness.
