Daichi's Chakra Training

[HAYASHIDAICHI]

Daichi had no idea how to proceed, he wasn't even sure if he could enhance his Chakra stamina, but he needed to try. The warm Konoha breeze rustled the forest leaves softly as Daichi focused the Chakra to the bottom of his feet, as he ran up the rough bark of some weather beaten tree. He was good at climbing in this manner, he had excellent control of his Chakra, but he lacked stamina, which was often a problem. Daichi ran for hours, hoping that by pushing himself to the edge of his energy, he may be able to somehow build up his Chakra.

Daichi ran and ran, and eventually wore out. He sat beneath a tree as that soothing breeze stirred the still forest. The sun was setting, but he was going to rest before heading back to the village. His thoughts wondered back to the mystery of Kato. The only thing he really new about where she was, was that she wasn't in Konoha, and that didn't help him any, especially since he was stuck here till he could get a good mission.

[NARUTO UZUMAKI]

"RASENGAN," Naruto yelled out now. He was currently training right now using the trees to practice his Rasengan on. He had already mastered the jutsu during his three years's away but he was bored and wanted to train some. He had just gotten out of the hospital finally after his injury from training with Hinata a few days ago. He then made a few handsigns and summoned one shadow clone. It immediately moved it's hands to form a Rasengan in Naruto's right hand before disappearing in a poof of white smoke. He then cried out charging forward and slammed the Rasengan into another tree leaving a small spiral shaped crater in it. He then huffed a little wiping some sweat from his brow. he had been training for about four hours straight and was starting to get hungry and tired now.

"I think that's enough for now. Think I'll head back to the village and grab a bite to eat." He then dusted himself off and turned around. He then started walking along headed towards the village. He soon sensed another presense nearby causing him to become alert. He didn't recognize the chakra signal so it was best to be on guard. He shot into the treetops dashing along from branch to branch. He finally neared it enough that he dropped out of the tree to find a young boy with dark black hair. He noticed he had a leaf headband so he relaxed smiling sheepishly. "Sorry to intrude on you like that. Name's Naruto Uzumaki and you?" He crossed his arms behind his head now still smiling sheepishly.

[NEJI]

Neji faced a six foot tall boulder stuck to the ground. He had sketched in ink the basic figure of a human and their chakra system. He gave the stone a small push ensuring that the stone firmly rooted into the ground. The stone didn't budge at all. He was out here to practice his jutsu. Though he generally practiced with a gentle fist style, Neji decided that combining both soft internal strikes with hard external strikes would prove quite effective. In the off chance of facing the akatsuki he would need to bring down his enemy internally and externally to make sure they would not get back up again.

Neji took the proper stance and prepared to strike. " Eight trigrams: empty palm!" He said firmly as he shot out his palm firmly and powerfully far away from the stone. The air shot out from his strike carried at high intensity as it went towards the stone. When the stone made contact the not only moved back a few yards, it shattered afterwards. He managed to push the stone with external force while the blast focused on the stones weak points. He destroyed it inside and outside. However Neji was not satisfied. It was a good job, but not perfect. The other point of this exercise was to cause as much as possible with as little chakra could be used. He used more chakra then he wanted to.

He'd try again later though. He was running out of rocks to break. He could see Naruto with his byakugan and figured he might as well say hello to him. He noticed that there was a another ninja by him, one he did not recognize. He saw from miles away that he was a leaf ninja and figured he must be a new genin. He walked up to Naruto and Daichi to say hello. Maybe he could get a sparring partner. Or at least, he could be helpful to the genin. As a jounin he was supposed to help teach in whatever way he could.

[HAYASHIDAICHI]

Daichi smiled at Naruto. "Hey! I'm Daichi Hayashi! You didn't interfere at all!" The sun was setting and the forest was cast in shadow. Daichi noticed someone else coming as well, he wasn't sure of his name, but he new he was a Hyuuga! It didn't matter, Daichi smiled to him as well, though his distaste obviously played across his face. "Would either of you happen to know anything about Chakra Stamina?" He asked hopefully.

[NARUTO UZUMAKI]

"Nice to meet you Daichi," Naruto replied smiling sheepishly. He offered a hand to shake now. He then felt another presense and looked over his shoulder to see Neji standing there. "Oh sup Neji what brings you out here of all places? How's Hinata doing?" he glanced back at Daichi barely noticing the look on his face directed at Neji. He shrugged it off figuring it was nothing. He shrugged at Daichi's question. "I'm sure Neji could help you with that!" He could tell Neji had been training and probably planning to later on again today. "Maybe later we can spar if you want to Neji show this kid a few things!" He grinned sheepishly crossing his arms behind his head now. He knew Neji wouldn't turn down a challenge and neither would he.

[NEJI]

"She's doing alright at the moment. I was out here practicing my jutsu. I had some time off so I wanted to keep training. Alright then, We'll catch up later Naruto." Neji said as he walked closer to Daichi. He sensed some hostility from the young man but didn't put much thought to it. He figured Daichi was just shy or that something about Neji was intimidating to him. Despite his cool demeanor and soothing voice he was not someone tended to easily make friends with.

"I was actually working on chakra stamina as well. I was trying to put as much damage into my jutsu with as little chakra possible so I will not get tired as easily. This stamina is useful in prolonged battles. One thing for tree climbing that I find helpful in conserving energy is only use the chakra at your feet when needed. For example, when you lift up your foot, do not activate the chakra there until it is firmly placed at the bark. When up in the air, you are wasting energy. Also work on balance. The better balanced you are on the tree's side, the less chakra you'll need to use to balance yourself out. There is a link between chakra stamina and actual stamina, so when running up the tree do not go at top speed unless absolutely neccesary, otherwise you're wasting energy." Neji explained as he walked up the tree. He climbed up a tree branch and sat down and began to meditate. He breathed in and out in way that helps replenish and open more of his chakra.

"Simple breathing exercises can help regulate chakra flow. You can slightly open up more chakra at a time than usual. Also, if done right, you may slowly regain chakra." Neji explained.

[HAYASHIDAICHI]

Daichi shook Naruto's hand and listened to Neji. As much as he hated it, Daichi decided he had judged Neji too early. It was obvious he new what he was talking about! "I'll give it a try!" Daichi said as he made his way up the tree. At first, it was a little strange getting used to focusing and defocussing the Chakra at his feet, but he got used to it eventually. When he found a suitable branch, he sat like Neji, closed his eyes, and began to breath, slowly and deeply. It did seem to help! "If any of you would like to go a round or two, I'm ready!" Daichi said, he just hoped that he really was ready, these guys seemed to know plenty about what they were doing!

[NARUTO UZUMAKI]

Naruto shook back then nodded as Neji said something to him. He yawned a little as Neji explained to Daichi about chakra control and stamina. When both walked up the tree and sat there to meditate he decided he'd do the same and practice his sage mode training some more. He had mastered it using his clones but he still liked to practice now and again. He then sat down in a meditative state and began meditating senseing the nature chakra around and began pulling it in. After a few minutes of complete silence orange markings appeared around his eyes now and then they opened revealing yellow pupils with narrow black irises. He then relaxed himself again and his eyes returned to normal, the orange markings fading from his eyelids. He looked up when Daichi spoke to them both now. He then grinned sheepishly and nodded a yes in response.

[NEJI]

"Daichi, what Naruto just did, Sage Mode is the ultimate use of chakra control to regulate strength and stamina both chakra and physical. It is a state few have heard of nowadays and even less often for such a skill to be mastered." Neji told Daichi about Naruto's transformation. Neji never stopped being amazed at how Naruto had grown so much over the years while staying so much like he was as a child. It was a good quality for Naruto that Neji had the utmost respect for.

"Alright, let us begin". Neji said as he took a fighting stance. "We'll start out easy on you Daichi and work our way up. While I'm you are quite skilled, it makes sense to be cautious at first." Neji said calmly as he transferred into his byakugan.

[HAYASHIDAICHI]

As soon as he had finished gawking at Naruto's eyes, Daichi dropped from the tree and transfered to his own fighting stance. His index and middle finger tips pressed against the tips of his thumb, and his ring and pinky fingers curled like a normal fist. This was so he could strike nerve points with high accuracy. Neji was using byakugan, a concept that Daichi had trouble understanding. The most he knew was that he didn't want to remain close to him for long, but Daichi also needed to be close enough to strike Neji's nerve points. This was going to be tough for him!

Daichi decided to take the initiative, he placed his hands behind his back and made the signs to perform the Hidden Fist Jutsu. His plan was to strike with three fists, one above, and one to either side of Neji, while simultaneously sending a kunai knife his way. That way, he would try to dodge the thrown knife, and hit one of the fists! Daichi reached for his knife, threw, and initiated the jutsu!
