"You've been a jounin for awhile now as well right? Ever thought of starting up your own squad and teach? You seem smart as to what's important as a ninja, and you awfully eager to play a father role." He took a sip of beer before continuing. He took a few bites of his snack and then took another sip.

"You may be able to pull off that style, me, I'm trying to stay as far away as a father for my squad. Afterall, I'm sending them out to battle, and picking favorites isn't going to help them out now or later when they face the pains of adulthood. Guide them in the right direction, have them win or fail on their own. Sure I'll teach philosophy and jutsu, but in the end it's up to them as to what they want out of themselves. As a sensei I don't think I can act like a dad while doing this. You however, may be different." He paused and then he laughed and made a silly smile. "But then again I just met you! For all I know, you could be totally terrible at that!" He sat as he patted him on the back playfully.

"Bout seven years so yea awhile," Raiden replied. He sipped more Sake now nodding at Ryouchi's next question now. "I have thought about getting my own team. I think it'd be a good experience for me. As for teaching well I don't know right now. I am eager I would like to settle down with a nice girl and start my own family." He was a little jealous of what his older brother Shido had. He nodded at his comment about not being a father to the squad. You couldn't baby your squad. You had to be serious about their training and only reward them when they deserved it.

I would try to be their friend if I could. I would never pick favorites they all should get the same amount of attention unless one of them is behind and really needs one on one time. I would have to agree with you on the rest of that. Family life should be kept seperate from work life. If you can balance that everything should be fine." He then poured himself some more Sake and quickly downed it. He then sighed happily and pushed his half drank bottle of Sake aside for the moment.
