Shido nodded slowly as he ate, listening to Dashe. "Ha ha ha! Just call me Shido. I don't like formalities." The father laughed. "Ah, I hope it was good stuff you heard about our clan." His eyes flickered over to Ren who looked down at her bowl and scooped a lot of the stew into her mouth. Koji yawned then stood up and took his own bowl to the sink. "Night papa." He said, Shido nodding his fair well to Koji.
"Mmhm, I've looked into your guys sensei a little. I trust him." Shido nodded slowly scooping up the rest of his stew setting his spoon into the bowl. "Well, we hope we're keeping in good consideration with you and your clan." He looked at Dashe with a nod. "I would hate for hatred to be between us."

"Sorry force of habit Mr. Shido," Dashe replied with a sheepish smile. He then pushed his bowl aside setting his spoon down now. "Of course she has. Ren is very kind hearted. I've yet to hear her say anything bad about anyone!" Dashe briefly glanced at Ren smiling a little before looking at Koji. Dashe smiled sheepishly now waving goodbye to him as Koji left. "Yeah he seems a nice guy to me. I hope to learn a lot from him. Hopefully enough to become a Chunin when the exams come around!" He glanced at Shido when he spoke of relations between their clans. Things had been pretty good lately between his clan and other clans. Relations were strong despite his clan being pretty reserved most of the time.
"Relations have been good lately between our clan and others." He paused briefly glancing at Ren's father again. He nodded when he spoke about not wanting hatred between them. "I definitely wouldn't want that. If that happened the Elders would crush my dream of being a ninja!" That would suck if that happened. It was his only escape from the boring dreary life of living at the compound.

Shido waved his hand dismissing Dashe apology, as long as the boy was doing no harm all's fine in his world. He then smirked, glad his little girl was still kind heart, even if that was a weakness of her.
When Ren heard that she was kind and had never said anything bad about another person, she face away as she felt her face flush.
"That's great to hear. I normally try to keep in contact with our Clan Head but I haven't heard anything from them in awhile." Shido nodded. "Must be hard being young and having all this responsibility." He looked at Ren and then back to Dashe. "If you need an escape. This house is open."
"Papa, he already knows." Ren said with a smile as Shido laughed. "Of course. Ren, honey, try not picking up complete strangers and bring 'em home." Ren puffed her cheeks up in anger, her eyes narrowed. "It only happened once. And at least Dashe isn't a stranger." Shido waved his hand, dismissing her. "I give, I give. You have your mother's spirit." He sighed heavily.
"It was nice meeting you Dashe, but this old lion's ready for some sleep." Shido slowly stood up taking his bowl to the sink and left both Ren and Dashe alone.

"Yeah I can understand that I guess," Dashe quickly replied. He missed her flush as he spaced out in his thoughts. Having been Clan head of his own clan he got a lot of requests. He was never able to get to them all which pained him. He wanted to please everyone but being Clan head he was just so busy managing their affairs. Now that he was taking a break from that by being a ninja he could finally get a breath of fresh air and just be himself. "Thanks Mr. Shido I'll remember that if something ever happens!"
He smiled sheepishly with a quick nod. When her father stood up he smiled and nodded waving as he left. He then inwardly sighed with relief glad the meetings were over now. He then glanced at Ren and smiled before looking up at the ceiling. "I guess I better leave soon. My mother must be worried something happened to me." He smiled sheepishly then yawned a little as he leaned back in his chair now. "Maybe next time I can stay longer and we can play some games or something!"

"I told you he wasn't too bad." Ren smiled at Dashe. "I'm glad that you came." Ren nodded slowly, "And I do hope that you do stay longer next time." She did have a fun and interesting time with Dashe, at least it wasn't boring for her.
"I guess you better go before your mother sends out someone to look for you." She laughed, oblivious to what could really happen to Dashe.

"Yeah you did and thanks for everything," Dashe replied. He smiled sheepishly running a hand through his hair now. So many other things he wanted to say like how much he liked her but that was for another time. "Yeah I know. It's been really fun and cant wait to do it again. Seeya tomorrow Ren-chan." He started walking past her now only to hesitate for a few seconds then started walking again. Once he was out the front door he sighed and shook his head berating himself for not kissing her cheek like he had wanted to. He then shot to the rooftops and disappeared into the night headed for home.
