STRENGTHS:

Zanzou excel in taijutsu and is very familiar with the art as he uses it often in combat, he uses a mix of street brawling, the basic taijutsu style of Konoha and another taijutsu style called Touch of the Blazing Fire. Zanzou is pretty avarage in genjutsu and can use the most basic of the genjutsu perfectly, though the more advance ones are beyond his reach as he does not bother with them. Ninjutsu wise, Zanzou excel in it, but he mostly uses Katon and fire related ninjutsu as he has an affinity with fire. Zanzou also has a large reserves, but by no means is he a stamina freak. He often uses his chakra sparingly, opting to use taijutsu and kenjutsu in battle. Zanzou's chakra control is superb as he had worked hard on it, beginning from the acedemy. Zanzou's speed and agility is beyond avarage, when he goes all out, he will leave afterimages of himself, the keepsake of his name, Zanzou meaning afterimage. Zanzou also excels in kenjutsu, the sword art. He is most proficient with the sword and often would use it in battle. Zanzou has silent steps that are commom amongst shinobi added with deadly grace that is unmatched. Swift and agile strikes are his specialty, with the added benefits of skillful footwork.

WEAKNESSES:

Zanzou has a weakness for water based attacks, is a closed ranged fighter, is not efficient at genjutsu.

PERSONALITY:

Usually quite, polite and laidback, Zanzou often speaks in a soft tone. He is quite calm and usually keeps to his own. People often percieves his as a lazy boy, but he would beg to differ. He is acutally hardworking and very determined once he gets his mind into it. Zanzou is a lover of music and all things beautiful, and would often spout off poetry from his mouth. Zanzou would often relax somewhere and plays a guitar while singing, it relaxes him. He also likes to eat snacks and meat, and likes to drink sake whenever he can get his hands on it. His excuse for drinking sake, I quote, "The stress of the day always gets to me you know, sake calms me down." end quote. He is often seen smoking, a pack of cigarettes always in his pockets.

Bunshin no Jutsu (Clone Technique)

A basica Ninjutsu technique taught to all Academy students that uses chakra to create substanceless clones of the caster. Unlike the more advanced bunshin (such as Mizu Bunshin or Kage bunshin) these clones are unable to attack because they have no physical substance. After performing a number of hand seals, a group of the desired number of clones will be created with a small 'poof' of smoke. Because they are substanceless, following complex commands won't work - thought they can make the appearence of an attack, but nothing will happen. If they come into contac with anything with physical substance the clones vanish with a 'poof' of smoke. The primary use of these clones is to confuse the target and create an opening to attack.

Description: A basic Ninjutsu technique taught to all academy students that allows the caster to take on the appearence of a object or person. Those using the technique have to detailed with their transformations otherwise they can be revealed with the most subtle flaws. This jutsu only gives the caster the appearence of the not the personality or jutsu or etc of the target. So, another way to be discovered is through wrong personality and habbits. Caster cannot transform into giant beheamoth sized creatures or to something as small as a insect.

A basic Ninjutsu technique taught to all Academy students that allows the caster to replace themselves with an object near by or a clone with physical substance to allow them to avoid dangerous attack and get away unharmed. Before the opponent’s attack connects, the user quickly replaces themselves with an objects or clone – at first giving the illusion that the attack connected – but the object to clone will then break or vanish. This technique does not stop Genjutsu attacks – so the user cannot replace a log to take a genjutsu attack for them. Replacing oneself gives the user the opportunity to ambush, plan strategy or make an esacape.

This technique requires adequate chakra control from the Ninja in order to execute. The shinobi will concentrate Chakra their feet and keep a constant flow going. While keeping this steady flow of chakra, the user will be able to walk up and on solid surfaces that he normally couldn’t have because of gravity. The user will now be able to walk up walls, trees, walk on ceilings upside down, etc. It is possible to keep his going while in combat, but if concentration is broken – the nin will fall.

Nawanuke no Jutsu (Escaping Technique)

A basic technique taught to Academy students that allows the shinobi to escape from the bindings of rope and such. As it is a basic ability, it will allow allow escape from simple knots and ties and bindings – not something created from a jutsu that binds.

A simple Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Earth Element that is common to Ninja in any village. Using their chakra – the shinobi can enter the underground to hide, ambush or spy on an enemy. Because they are underground – the user will not be able to breathe making their time under very limited. Some ninja to stay for extended periods will create small air pockets or use a tube to breathe with. Being a very useful way to avoid attack – this attack puts the ground between the attack but the user is now susceptible to Doton attacks.

Shunshin no Jutsu (Body Flicker Technique)

A higher leveled technique that allows the Shinobi to move from one location to another almost instantaneously. The vanishing and reappearing of the caster depends on their speed. The technique is masked by surrounding leaves, sand, mist, etc – depends on what is available at the time. Technique isn’t battle oriented but could assist in tight situations where there is time to execute the jutsu successfully.

A technique used to counter against Genjutsu techniques. The technique is mostly used for large scaling Genjutsu rather than ones that target a single individual when used on oneself. The technique can also be used to delicious other from genjutsu. The ability to break delicious from the genjutsu depends on the users ability to control their chakra – as well as their own knowledge and ability of Genjutsu. If the genjutsu’s strength supercedes the genjutsu ability – breaking from the genjutsu will be difficult and the user will have to use more chakra to break delicious. By bursting their chakra in their body and halting flow it can delicious them from the genjutsu, but this takes good concentration and distraction will make it difficult

Chakra no Tate: Redux

This technique is a Chuunin level defensive Jutsu that can block incoming Kunai and Shuriken and most Chuunin level Jutsu. This technique requires a moderate amount of chakra and good chakra control. The user doesn't need any handseals to do this Jutsu and because of that, this Jutsu is has a very fast activation time. By pouring out chakra trhough the tanketsu in your arm and hand, you then spin the chakra infront of your palm creating a spinning disk-like shape that will deflect any incoming projectile and most Genin to Chuunin level Jutsu. This Jutsu uses similar principal of the Yondaime's Rasengan and the Hyuuga's Kaiten. Although not as powerful as Kaiten or an offensive Jutsu like Rasengan, this Jutsu could become very handy to learn.

Kanashibari no Jutsu - Temporary Body Paralysis Technique

Kanashibari no Jutsu is an advanced Ninjutsu technique where the ninja stares down their opponent, causing them to become completely frozen in their tracks. With the person frozen in place, the ninja can either take the opportunity to attack or to retreat. Requires a low amount of chakra.

Touch of the Blazing Fire
Range: Short Range
Type: C-rank, Attack
It is a ninjutsu technique where the user gathers their chakra around their hands and then manipulates it into a red fire that can evaporate water when near enough. The user must have the best chakra control to use this technique or he/she will burn themselves. Though this technique does not use much chakra to create the fire but it does take considerate amount of chakra to maintain it. This technique can not be use in a long battles.

Taijutsu Style: Burning Fist
Range: Short Range
Type: C-rank, Attack
A Taijutsu style that can only be used by someone that have the Touch of the Blazing Fire. This style focuses on fast striking punches. The damage done by this style does not come from the strenght of the punh alone but also the burns from the Touch of the Blazing Fire. Take note that this style can not be use in long battles as it takes much chakra to maintain it's use.

Katon: Hi no Tate (Fire Release: Shield of Fire)

Katon: Hi no Tate is a sphere of fire that protects the user/user's group from harm. However, it draws a lot of chakra especially if the shield is being constantly attacked. If anyone touches the sphere, they will get second degree burns and they will experience some pain. This technique requires a low amount of chakra to activate and it will need continues feeding of low amount of chakra for it to be sustained.

Katon: Housenka no Jutsu (Flame Type: Mythical Fire Flower Technique)

Type: C-rank, Attack
Another technique which originally belongs to the Uchiha clan, Katon Housenka is a very powerful and flexible technique. Instead of following the way of the other fire techniques, Housenka is unique by creating many small, yet powerful fireballs from the users mouth, and shooting them at the opponent. This means that this NinJutsu can hit many opponents in one strike; however, it also means that it can be dodged easier since the balls are smaller than a stream of fire.

Here is how it works: The ninja first gathers chakra into his mouth while performing many swift and diverse hand seals. Once all the needed chakra is gathered, the shinobi places two fingers in an elliptical position in front of his mouth, and starts shooting out the fireballs. These projectiles can be either shot fast at the same direction, slowly in a rotating formation; basically, the ninja controls everything, from the strength of the fireballs to how fast he/she shoots them. Although it requires a lot of concentration and a lot of chakra, this Jutsu is one among the most powerful ones in the series.

Katon: Goukakyuu no Jutsu (Flame Type: Powerful Fireball Technique)

Type: C-rank, Attack
This Ninjutsu is a very powerful technique, and most Genins are not capable of performing it due to the large amount of chakra it uses. The user must first gather a large amount of chakra in his hand and mouth; this attack is pretty similar to a flamethrower. The mouth shoots out fire and one hand is placed just out of the lips to control it into one large fireball.

Just like any other elemental technique, animal hand seals are needed to perform it. This one here uses the tiger and horse seals. The only big drawback this attack has is that it slows down the caster, since he must stay still while he "spits" fire. This means an attack opening from another attacker.

Katon: Choukakyuu no Jutsu (Fire Release: Mega Fireball Skill)
Range: Mid-Range
Type: C-rank, Attack
The user expels an extremely powerful blast of fire that incinerates the target area and spreads a wave of flames which extends the radius of the initial blast. Basicly it's the same consept as the Goukakyuu no Jutsu except for a difference. This jutsu has more blast radius than Goukakyuu no Jutsu and the flame can be spread out more than just being a big ball of flame like Goukakyuu. This techniques consumes a moderate amount of chakra.

Katon: Karyuu Endan (Fire Release: Fire Dragon Flame Bullet)
Range: Short-Mid
Type: B-rank, Attack
The user kneads chakra into flames, which are then manipulated into a genuine-looking dragon. Since the art of having the flames obey the user's will is outrageously difficult, its mastery is restricted to a limited number of skillful shinobi. The spat out flames are divided to launch a left side, right side, and frontal assault in all three directions at once, turning the enemy into ash in a matter of seconds.

Sora no Uta - Song of the Sky

Sora no Uta is a style of Kenjutsu tha focusses on speed and precision strikes. The user of this style often has to have a good speed in order to use it effectively. This style is mainly used for fighting against multiple opponent as it is intended. The user often then not seems to disappear leaving an afterimage after each strike that might confuse the opponent.

Ao Kou, the Blade of the Full Moon & Kurenai Kou, Blade of the Flaming Sun
The Ao Kou and Kurenai Kou are the twin katana that is weilded by Zanzou, handed to him by his father, the twin blades has served him well. The Aou Kou has a dark blue hilt and and the blade seems to have a glint of blue in it. The saya for the Ao ken is cook with intricate blue designs carved onto it. The Kurenai Kou has a dark red hilt and the blade seems to have a glint of red in it. The saya for the Kurenai Kou is cook with intricate crimson designs carved into it. Both of the blades are of avarage length for their class, which is 65cm in length.

HISTORY:

Zanzou was born to Natsu Hitomi and Himura, he was a healthy culinary and both his parents were happy about that. His father, Himura is a shinobi while Hitomi, his mother, is housewife. Zanzou grew up in a fairly normal household and his parent had raised him well.

Zanzou entered the academy at the age of 10 and graduated three years later at the age of 12. Zanzou didn't have many friends when he a kid because he was always seen reading or relaxing most of the time while other kids likes to play. Only few had ever befriended him, and he didn't mind not having too many friends. Whe he had graduated, Zanzou was placed into a team with two other and a Jounin-sensei. At that time, his father had given him the twin swords that he weilds today.

His time as a Genin was short but he had learned many things from his sensei and teammates, they had come to form a bond born out of trust and friendship. Their Jounin sensei had taught them well and a year after becoming Genin, they were nominated for the Chuunin Selection Exams. They had passed the exam with ease, each of them showing qualities of leadership, teamwork, resourcefullness, and comradary.

A couple of years after becoming Chuunin, Zanzou was selected to become an ANBU. He had been trained to become one of the best and is now an active ANBU member for five years. He works under the alias of Shirotora.
