History of Clan: A relatively new clan to emerge around fifty years ago, clan founder Keguchi Sato was once a ninja from Iwagakure but after being exiled due to public protests of disapproval of the Tsuchikage he was forced to leave or be executed. The reason why Teguchi was against the Tsuchikage was that he felt that the Tsuchikage had grown corrupt by the powers given to that of kage. He felt that no one was looking out for the welfare of the villagers and that the kage needed to be removed, by force if neccesary. Although such an offense his could have had him executed, he was exiled so he would become a martyr and strengthen his cause. The kage didn't want to risk a revolution. Keguchi then moved his family to Konohagakure to start a new life and establish themselves as an active ninja clan which is highly active in the community.The clan was established to keep his family well provided as well as having enough influence so they can voice their political views freely without fear of reprisal. The political need has so far been unnecessary as they feel that Tsunade is doing an excellent job as hokage. Though still largely unknown they are growing in popularity since Keguchi's son Ryo became the first in the clan to develop a kekkai genkai. This born ability is similar to that of the Sautobi clan's ability to create plant jutsus by combining water and earth chakra. However, the Sato clan combines fire and earth to create lava jutsus.
How the kekkei genkai works (as quoted by Ryouchi when talking to Yajuu Ren): "My kekkai genkai is just a bit different from yours. We are born with this skill fully developed but that is where the risk is. We are born with unnaturally high body temperatures, this being that our stomach lining is nearly unbreakable and holds the lava in our bodies as opposed to stomach acid. Also, our chakra emits intense heat. I am the third child have this gift because other children combusted under the intense heat and pressure their bodies give out. This is why we are placed with a seal that filters our heat for to keep us at safe levels. We train to keep this under control. My sister and I managed to control by the time we were of academy age. I mastered it at the age of seventeen. Lava jutsus can technically be done by others, the fifth Mizukage knows how to. It's our bodies and our chakra heat that sets us apart."
Special Techniques:
Creating lava by fusing earth and fire chakra elements.
Lava ocean jutsu- Spewing of vast amounts of lava from the mouth. The burn can potentially melt opponents while when the lava hardens, it becomes solid rock which can trap enemies by having their feet cemented in place. If done incorrectly the user risks frying his insides and burning to death internally.
Smoke clone jutsu- Creation of solid body clones. When defeated the turned into noxious smoke.
Lava fist/foot jutsu- User creates a thick layer of rock around either their feet or hands and then sets it on fire. The heat melts away at the rock creating lava which they use to add a burn to their strikes. If rock layers are not strong enough the user risks melting off their appendages.
Smoke strangulation jutsu- Sends smoke into the mouth and pores of an enemy and slowly or quickly (depending on amount of smoke being used) suffocate them.
Burning passion jutsu- Covers body in chakra which produces intense heat. While in this aura, the user's attacks can lightly singe or even burn away flesh. If done wrong, person can cook themselves.
