“Tsunade! What is this? You brought your ANUB with you? Why, I thought this was going to be a meeting just between us. I am not sure I feel like sharing now."
Really he was going to talk about bringing someone to the meeting when he violated these rules long before she did? Ugh!
“Seriously though Tsunade baby, you might want to send your little ninja task force home. After all, if it did come to the point where you would need them… well, I would hate to clean their blood off of my nice suit. Seriously, nothing seems to stain more than human blood, I have had to gotten rid of like, five of these because of it.”
She hadn't liked those words at all, and the frown that had vanished several minutes before made its full come back. He talked so casually about desposing of her Anbu as if they were nothing but bugs. She truly was beginning to wonder if making a deal with this man was really such a good idea.
"Now now Tsunade, the night is still young, there is still so much to do. Let us be marry and drink like old time. I even brought us some of the finest sake, brought here straight from the Moon Country."
Her eyes widened just a touch at the mention of sake. It had been awhile since she had the taste of sake and she had to admint she missed the taste of it. Shizune's monitoring of her daily activites was twice as annoying since she had found her, sleeping in her office a few weeks ago. Still sake....he had certainly captured her attention.
"Besides, I am not sharing anything till I have your word that you will get me into Kirigakure. You will get half then, and half when I am safely inside.”
Another small snort fell from her as she crossed her arms over her chest and glared at him. It seemed, for the moment, she had no choice but to agree upon his request...for now anyway.
"Tch, I suppose I don't have much choice now do I?" Her words were as sarcastic as ever, but she continued, "But you have my word that I'll help you get into Kirigakure, as long as you swear never to mention that I helped you" She turned her attention skyward for the third time and released a sigh, as next words followed.
"And to make this clear now, I will not risk the lives of those under my care, for you." She looked back at him at that, eyes as hard and intense as ever. If this agreement cost her, her village, there would be hell to pay. "Understand that my duty as Hokage is much more important..."
