The drunken man's words had no effect on her; she had been called fall worse than an adorable and fragile puppy bearing its fangs. She couldn't care less about his opinion of her, in fact, this just proved that she had the upper hand in the up and coming battle because he was clearly underestimating her strength. It would be one of his last mistakes.
"This is your last chance," Rina stated as he walked straight into a wall. So much for a dramatic exit. "Will you come with me with or without a fight? It's your choice." Personally, she really didn't care what the man chose; he was going to come with her one way or another. She doubted he would come with her willingly, so she was perfectly prepared for a battle. However, she had already thought of a way to make him come with her easier... But, she would let him choose his fate.

Ebisawa cupped his hands over his nose, wincing in pain as he recoiled from his unfortunate meeting with the wall. It wasn’t broken or ever bleeding, but it still hurt… a lot. “No sympathy from ya at all? Wow ya are cold.” He told her, though it was muffled by his hands. He shook his head, still stumbling from side to side, trying to regain some semblance of balance. It wasn’t working, if anything he was only swaying more because of his attempts. “But I am afraid that I won’t be comin’ with ya tonight,” he continued after removing his hands from his nose, “the Mizukage is still a little annoyed about the whole escape thing, kinda don’t wanna deal with that temper of hers.”

As soon as he finished his sentence, deciding to choose the more difficult option, Rina vanished from her spot with an alarming burst of speed. She had used her kekkei genkai to strengthen the muscles in her long legs along with focusing her chakra into her feet, allowing her to move inhumanly fast. Hideyoshi was under the impression that he was quick, however, he would be no match for Yajuu Rina, especially in his drunken state. Whether he liked it or not, Rina was bringing him to the Mizukage.
In the same moment that she disappeared, she reappeared in an emerald flash, standing behind the old man with a kunai knife held against his jugular and another over his heart. Normally Rina wouldn't use a hostage, but in this situation she concluded that it would be beneficial toward her goal. Also, she wouldn't feel any remorse if she did end up having to kill the man. He was, after all, an accomplice to Hideyoshi's escape.
"Would you care to reconsider your choice, Ebisawa?" the dark haired girl asked with a steady voice. Her green eyes flashed menacingly as she pressed the kunai harder into the old man's throat. "Or I'm afraid your friend here will suffer the consequences."

If she had caught him in any other state of mind, he would have lopped off her head right there and then. He didn’t care if she was a girl, a circumstance that would normally have him trying diplomacy or running, but no one was going to harm this man when he still had the power to stop it. That said, he couldn’t just cut her in two without hurting the man in this state. Even if he activated the Akuma no Mai, his hand wasn’t steady enough to use it effectively. No, he had to be smart about this. Well, as smart as he could be after a night of drinking.
He could feel his muscles start to loosen, their last stress free moments before Ebisawa would torture them in an attempt to disarm the girl. He stared at her feet, refusing to look up at her. He had no witty remarks, insults, or mean names to call her. Suddenly, his head snapped up, determined eyes locking her with as his hands slammed together, speed up by the Oni no Mai. Though he wasn’t skilled with it, he had knowledge of the Kanashibari no Jutsu, the paralysis technique. Though due to the small amounts of hand signs and his lack of knowledge with the technique, he knew it wouldn’t even last a second… but that was all he needed. In a flash he was in front of her, ripping the kunai out of her hands in order to give the old man a chance to escape. The old man, with surprising agility and speed, took off running
He then fell back, knowing that he technique must have worn off, and he wasn’t looking forward to her response to his actions.

(idfk why i never replied to this... sorry!)
Rina recognized the hand signs Ebisawa quickly performed and prepared herself for the oncoming attack. She didn't know how long his technique would last, but considering his inebriated state, it probably wouldn't be too long. She felt her kunai torn out of her immobile hands, but she ignored the pain, and jumped into action as soon as she felt her muscles regain strength.
"Yajuu Bunshin no Jutsu!" Rina shouted as she quickly formed the hand seals. Two fearsome black panthers appeared at her side, their emerald eyes gleaming in the moonlight, and pounced onto their prey. One dove at Ebisawa's left arm, and the other at his right. Rina then threw a barrage of shuriken at the man's pant legs to make sure he wouldn't get loose. "Well that wasn't so hard now was it. Be a gentleman now and come with me quietly."

((np ;D))
“Beast clones… figures,” Ebisawa grumbled to himself. The girl’s assault was almost inhumanly fast, but under the affects of the Oni no Mai, he was more than able to keep up. The blur that was his body sprung off to the right side, twisting as he did so to offer a little surface area to the shuriken. He brought his blade up quickly as well, catching the beast clone with the tip, in order to push it away from him.
"Well that wasn't so hard now was it. Be a gentleman now and come with me quietly."
Ebisawa grinned a little at this. “Look who’s talkin’! Sendin’ ya house pets after a complete stranger aint very lady-like,” he shot back. It wasn’t the most witty thing he had ever said, but he was drunk, and it was the first thing to come to his mind. Come to think of it, he probably wanted to end this fast, after all, extended uses of Oni no Mai was bad for the body, and being intoxicated on top of it… this wasn’t going anywhere good.

Damn it! Rina mentally cursed. She hadn't expected him to still be able to move with such great speed and agility. This is not acceptable, Rina! Get yourself together. You're a Yajuu. Yajuu do not fail.
Rina took a deep breath to calm herself. This wasn't going to be an easy fight, but there was no way it could last much longer. With the technique Ebisawa was using, he was significantly faster than her, so she would have to stay on her toes. She shifted her eyes, ears, and nose into their beast form so her senses would be heightened. The two adversaries both had their strengths, but which one would endure?
"Look who’s talkin’! Sendin’ ya house pets after a complete stranger aint very lady-like."
Rina grinned back at the man; what a stupid and irrelevant statement. "Foolish man, what made you think you would be able to return to the Hidden Mist without being recognized?"

Ebisawa let out a little sigh as the Kunoichi seemingly let up on her attack. Normally he would have just dropped the Oni no Mai there, but with the remaining beast clone being so close, he didn’t want to risk it. After all, the girl and her clones had been shown to be quick, so he had to just remain a step ahead of them. His muscles would hate him for it, but he would repay them when all this was over. Maybe a massage or something to relieve the tension. First things first though, he had to deal with the girl.
“I was doin’ pretty good at keepin’ hidden till now,” he replied, a wide, toothy grin on his face, “remind me to be more careful tomorrow.” He taught able dashing in, but he didn’t want to hit this girl anymore. After all, his friend had gotten away, and she wasn’t ugly. It would be a shame to ruin such a face. “Ya still wanna keep this up? I’d hate to leave ya pretty lil’ face lookin’ like mine.”

The beast clones were circling Ebisawa, making sure that he wouldn't be able to run away. Rina ran a dozen different scenarios in her about the oncoming fight. She concluded that the most likely outcome would be a very brief fight, with her enemy probably trying to injure her in order to make a hasty escape. This was just an assumption, but either way the fight wasn't going to last long.
“Ya still wanna keep this up? I’d hate to leave ya pretty lil’ face lookin’ like mine," Ebisawa said with an even bigger grin on his face. This surprised Rina. She hadn't expected him to forgive her so easily for threatening the old man. It must be the alcohol talking.
Rina decided to make the first move. Going on the offensive would be her best bet. She wouldn't give Ebisawa a chance to attack. The beast clone at his back nipped at his leg while the one near the front pounced ferociously at his shoulder. Rina then charged in in a flash with her ebony hair flying wildly behind her. "Yajuu Bunshin no Jutsu," Rina muttered under her breath, sending two more clones ahead of her. Ebisawa was fast, but the odds were against him.

Ebisawa sighed a little as the girl rushed foreword, watched as she summoned more beast clones for her to use. He pulled his leg foreword to avoid the beast at his back, while he dropped his shoulders, letting the other sail over his head. He had little choice but to end this now without hurting the girl too bad, or wait to be forced into a fight to the death. He slammed his hands together for a few quick hand signs, activating the Kokuangyou no Jutsu in order to cripple her sight. He then dashed foreword, running between the rushing beasts. He had one goal in mind, shut down the girl before she could become more of a threat.
As soon as he was within only a few feet of the girl, he slammed out a few quick hand signs once again. Suddenly, two shadow clones appeared at his side, swords already in hand. In unison, all three clones spun, one to the girl’s right, another to her left, and the other straight ahead. He had no doubt she could track his movements, and as such used his Mikadzuki no Mai in order to crippler her prediction once more. Two of the blades shoot out her legs, the other looked to cleave into her shoulder.
