(Topic title taken from Such Horrible Things by Creature Feature; Open to all : D)
"I'll be back by midnight, Rikizo" Shinikaru called to one of her dad's. "'Kay hun" He called back as Shinikaru exited her home. She let out a sigh of relief. She had the day off today as ANBU. She planned to spend it just relaxin. No fighting or any of that crap. Just a day to sit back and relax.
"Why not? Shinikaru thought outloud as she walked towards the play ground. She skipped happily over to the play ground and jumped right onto the monkey bars. She hooked her legs around the bar and hung upside down. Her light green shirt came up slightly, but she cared not. Her long hair touched the sandy terrain...oh well, the whole sand village was a desert wasteland. Not her fault.

Osamu smiled as he walked aimlessly around the Village Hidden in Sand. It wasn’t exactly clear how the Sound ninja had managed to find his way inside, but he was there. What was probably most troubling was how he walked around without care, proudly showing off his Sound headband wrapped around his forehead, not even bothering to try to hide it under his obnoxiously large headphones. Indeed, he was just wandering, bobbing his head to music being played at such a volume that everyone around him could hear it. It was some drum and bass song, his love of that low frequency still showing strong.
He didn’t mind the heat, or the sun, or even the sand. No, as long as he had music, he didn’t really care. He ignored the various shops, the people’s homes, the people who stared at him, completely sucked into his own little world. In fact, the music influenced him so much, he was walking in time with the beat, a smile plastered all over his face. He must have looked goofy, which was the only reason he hadn’t been reported to Suna Jounin by now. Indeed, due to his place of origin, it was incredibly odd that he was so happy.
Yamada Osamu soon had to take a break from his music listening, lifting the headphones of his ears so they could rest around his neck. It was only now he noticed how hot it was, and being stuck in a bright blue jumpsuit probably didn’t help. He didn’t like the silence he was hearing, finding it uncomfortable, awkward even. In fact, he was glad when he heard some girl mutter something. He glanced over at some girl hanging upside down on monkey bars, her hair touching the sandy ground. “Guess I am at some playground,” Osamu said aloud.

//this might be short, im doing like a million things at once here @.@//
Shinikaru smiled to herself as she gingerly swung herself on the monkey bars for a few moments before bring her upper body up, grabbing hold of the bars. She heard extremely loud music. The suna's heat caused music to carry more then it would in persay, the snow village.
The young lady turned her heads towards the source, her eyes resting on the sound headband immediately. "Damn" were the only words she spoke. No hostility in her tone whatsoever. She unhooked her legs, bringing them to the ground.
"What brings you here?" She asked, letting her hands rest on her hips. She smiled slightly. "My name is Shinikaru" better get introductions out of the way now

((OOC: Not a problem ;D))
“Hello, they call me Yamada Osamu,” replied the sound ninja, smiling and giving her a little bow. He glanced around a little afterwards, to survey the area around him, confirming that is was indeed, a playground. Not that he had any problems with that, he just had no recollection of how he ended up here. One minute he was listening to music and the next, he was here talking to some girl… what did she call herself? Shinikaru? Yeah, that sounded right. Still, it was pronoun time, at least until Osamu could confirm her name.
“Would you believe me if I said music?” he told her as an answer to her question. Yeah, answering a question with a question probably wasn’t good form, but there was really no other way to put it. “I probably let myself get a little too lost in it sometimes, but so far it has guided me well,” he added, trying to explain he reason for ending up at the playground a little bit more.

Shinikaru listened to him as she walked over to the near by swings. She sat herself down and began to gingerly swing herself. She wasn't going for height or anything. Rather, conserve energy that might be needed for lat er.
"I would" Shinikaru said, a smile tugging at her lips. Her eyes looked him over for a moment. He was oddly dressed, at least by Suna standards. "You're not from around here, are ya?" It was a statement more of question. "Besides the obvious sound headband I see" Shinikaru said rather matter-of-factly as she eyed his outfit. Then again, her own outfit gave her the look of an exotic dancer, rather then ANBU.

((OOC: sorry it took so long for me to get back. Probably bad form for me to join an rp right before a trip))
Osamu watched as the girl in front of him move from the monkey bars to the swings. More specifically, he was watching her style of dress. No, he wasn’t being creepy or perverted like many would think. Rather, he was thinking about how her clothes were so much better suited for Suna’s environment than his. With the music gone, he could feel the sweat sweeping off of him. If this kept up too long, he was going to pass out from losing so much water. Why did he decide to get dressed up in jumpsuit, the world would never know.
“Guess it gives it away huh,” replied Osamu, still able to muster up a smile for the friendly girl. “Otogakure is my home, though to be honest I haven’t been there in awhile. I know all the sounds and songs there, I have to give it more time before they develop new ones. In the meantime, I travel to find out each country’s sounds and music,” Osamu offered as an explanation, “though, to be honest, I have been rather disappointed with my finds lately. You get the occasional wind here, but everything seems so dead during the day. Is there anyone in Suna who plays an instrument? Or any animals at all?”
