There's Nothing Left, So Save Your Breath ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It was blatantly obvious that Katsuo was well under the legal drinking age. So obvious in fact, that he had entered the bar in a joke. Much to his pleasant surprise, the Sand nin seemed not to notice the fourteen-year-old boy and treated him as they would any other customer. In fact, a few shinobi even nodded to him. Based on these actions, Katsuo concluded that they didn't really care about what age you were as long as you didn't cause trouble. He didn't think them any poorer because of this, and instead found his fondness for the Sand shinobi grow. So, without hesitation, he'd grabbed a stool and ordered whatever the guy next to him was having. He was disappointed to find that the drink was of low alcohol content, but figured he may as well drink it so his money wouldn't be put to waste.
As he slowly consumed the unsatisfying drink, Katsuo began surveying his environment. It was evening, probably just about after dinner. Most of the men were just beginning to drink, so it wasn't that loud yet. However, as he watched them Katsuo could determine the happy drunks and could also spot the sad drunks back in the corners of the bar. Those people were pathetic, in his opinion. He could go on and on in his head about the infinite reasons he thought sad drunks were hopeless fools, only he wasn't here to prove his own points to himself. He was here to drink, and to drink good. Unfortunately, there didn't seem to be many women around yet, and Katsuo had to force himself to be patient.
It wasn't too long before he finished his original drink, and ordered a harder alcohol so that he wouldn't have to wait long to get drunk. Sure, technically you weren't supposed to become intoxicated on a mission, but who would know? Besides, it was pretty much done anyway. Escort missions were ridiculously boring. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Miles had just come back from his long trip away from home. He was about one year away from the drinking age and decided not to push his luck. The diagonal scar from his last battle was aching and held his head in his hand. He shuffled into the bar and sat at a stool. He ordered a cup of water and drunk it within a single gulp. His clothes were covered in sand and he was tired to the extreme amount. He still held his head in his hand while he drunk cup after cup of water.

It didn't take long for Katsuo to get a nice buzz, but he wasn't exactly drunk yet. He found he was getting a bit bored, and was about to get up and find some interesting people before a stool close to him became occupied. The newcomer was older than him, but not obscenely old. Katsuo watched curiously as the man drank glasses of water like a vacuum sucked dust. He seemed fatigued, in pain, and he was covered in sand. Katsuo leaned over the counter so that the stranger could see him.
"Hey, are you okay?" ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Zero barely turned to look at the boy who asked him the question. He was starting to collapse from fatigue. He thought the water would clear his senses but only served to dull the pain. He still held his face in his hand. The pain kept coming, faster and faster, until it was unbearable. Zero managed to mutter a few choice words until he collapsed and fell off the stool.

Katsuo sat there dumbly for about five seconds, staring at the collapsed figure just a few feet away. That's how long it took his brain to fully register what had happened, anyway. "Shit!" He finally exclaimed, fumbling out of his chair and hastily making his way towards the man. "Hey... Hey! Wake up, dumb ass!" Katsuo shook him frantically as his gray eyes flicked left and right in search of help. No one seemed to care. Everyone probably thought this guy had one too many drinks, and he merely passed out. Didn't they consider the fact that this might actually be serious!? What the hell am I supposed to do...? Katsuo wondered, biting the inside of his cheek. Katsuo was only 15, how was he supposed to carry this guy out of a bar and to the hospital? Wait... where was the hospital?
Panic set in and Katsuo felt his heart rate quicken. "You! Right there!" He shouted at a big man that had just entered the bar. That would be his best bet, someone strong and from the village and sober. The man glared at Katsuo. "Help me carry this guy outta here! He just passed out!" Much to Katsuo's annoyance, the man laughed at him and completely ignored him as he made his way into the bar. Looks like I don't have much choice... Katsuo took the guy's arm and draped it around his shoulder before standing up wobbly. Why was he doing this anyway? It wasn't his problem if some guy decided to drop dead in a bar...
Pushing his thoughts aside, Katsuo focused on setting into action. Using a good deal of strength, Katsuo dragged the man out of the bar and immediately coughed once he was outside. He hated this village... there was so much dust and sand. "This is all your fault!" He shouted at the unconscious man. Apparently someone had taken notice of Katsuo's situation because he found himself being approached by a woman in her early twenties.
"W-what are you doing with that man!?" She asked incredulously. What the hell was she talking about? Don't tell me... Katsuo thought with a sour face. She thinks I'm gonna dump him off somewhere or something...
"Look lady! This isn't any of your business! Just tell me where a hospital is, okay!?" She seemed taken aback, but gave him the general area of where the hospital was located. Katsuo didn't bother thanking her as he stalked off towards the hospital. He could already feel his shoulder getting sore... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Zero felt himself moving but didn't have the energy to tell what was happening. He managed to move only a little bit before his body failed him again. He managed to get a pre-prepared note out of his pocket before he fell back into unconciousness. The note read "Whoever is reading this, I'm sorry for bothering you. I had an... ordeal a couple days back that im not at liberties to discuss until I wake up. My name is Zero. I am a Konoha ninja. Thank you for taking me to the hospital. I'll tell you everything that has happened to me when I wake back up."

It was only once he was half-way to the hospital that he felt some strained movement from the man. Katsuo gave him a side-glance, and found that he was struggling to gain consciousness, but ultimately failing in his endeavor. Katsuo started to pity the guy, but quickly shook off those thoughts when he told himself that it was the guy's own fault that this was happening.
As he was about to enter through the hospital doors, Katsuo realized the man had stopped moving altogether. To ensure his well-being, Katsuo glanced back at him and noticed there was a note gripped inside the man's curled fist. Confused, Katsuo set the man down on a wall for a second, then tore the note from his grip. He read it aloud to himself, then stood there in silence. Then he silently tore the note in two and pointed accusingly at the man. "I'm not doing you any favors! And if you had the time to write a note, why didn't you say anything!?" The boy huffed and crossed his arms, taking a moment to glare at the man with his gray eyes. Then he picked him up again and finally entered the hospital. After much arguing and confusing explanations, they finally admitted the guy and Katsuo was left alone. They wanted him to stay until the guy woke up, but Katsuo thought otherwise. He was planning on leaving, for some reason he was curious about why the guy had collapsed here in the first place, and what he was doing here as a Konoha ninja. So Katsuo did end up entering his room and slumped into one of the chairs that were against the wall. He crossed his arms and looked out the window, waiting for him to wake up so he could get an explanation. So much for a night at the bar. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Zero woke up in a hospital bed. His head still was pounding but it wasn't hurting as bad. He looked around to get a bearing of his surroundings. He saw a young grey eyed boy, glaring at him. He could tell he was the person who dragged him all the way to the hospital. "Come over here. In my note I told whoever helped me would get to know what happen." The boy hesitated for a second but came over anyway. " Let me get straight to the point. I was once posssesed by a demon who could control wind. I tried to get rid of it because it was corrupting me. I managed to get rid of it but I had to fight a dragon after I got rid of it. It knocked me out and when I woke up, I had this scar on my face. I feel some sort of new power, however, but i'm not going to get into detail about it." Zero said, explaining the battle in detail, telling about the old man who told him his information, and how the old man turned into the dragon. He showed the boy his broken element sword, and showed how his headband was scarred. "I told you everything that I promised but you still haven't told me anything about you. I don't expect you to, but will you atleast tell me your name?"
