Zero checked his wallet. He only had 1000 ryo left. He sighed. He knew he couldnt part with his katana. "All I have left is 1000 ryo and myself. And since I don't plan on selling myself out to slavery, here." He handed her his wallet. Even throughout all of this, he had to admit it, she was stunningly sexy. Damn teenage hormones. He thought.

"I am not a thief," Rina replied, taking the wallet from the boy's hands and returning it to the front pocket of his pants, "I do not want your money." She slowly dragged her fingers from his pocket, looking into his eyes as she did so. Her piercing electric green iris' flashed with excitement as she took a step closer to the boy. She took another step, her chest now pressed against his, and raised a delicate hand to his face. She allowed her fingers to trail down his cheek, across his lips, and past his chin. She stopped at his neck, grasping his jugular tightly enough to restrict his breathing by a fraction. "So all you have left to offer is yourself..." |

Zero swallowed visibly. "Ummm...what are you doing?" Zero said, his voice shaky. He tried to move back but he hit a wall. This was starting to get weird for him. He looked straight back into this woman's green eyes. He felt his breathing get constricted a little. He saw the smile on the womans face. She was going to do something. He knew if he fought back, he would be covered by Kirigakure's ninja's in seconds, then be tried for infiltration and damage to property.

"I should take you to the Mizukage," Rina said, her tone of voice turning serious. After a moment she dropped her hand from his throat and allowed a smile to spread across her face. "But that would be a pain in the ass."
She turned her back to the boy and began walking away. She looked over her shoulder and motioned for him to follow, "Come with me, dummy, before someone else comes along and actually turns you in." |

Zero breathed a silent sigh of relief. He was glad he didnt have to go through the whole process of explaining everything to the Mizukage. He had to hold his tounge back when she called him a dummy. He obediently followed her, hoping no one would notice he was not from around here. His violet eyes never strayed too far from her. Exactly who was this lady?

Rina led the boy down the dingy back streets with a casual but quick pace. She didn't want to draw suspicion to herself by taking the main road or by sprinting, and this was the most convenient way she could think of.
A drunken man stumbled out of a bar's back door. He grinned when he saw Rina walking his way and began to stagger toward her. Her eyes flashed as she shot a glare at him, causing him to instantly recoil in fear; everyone in Kirigakure knew those eyes. Rina stalked past him as he cowered in fear on the dirty ground.
Rina took an abrupt turn to the left and crouched low to the ground. She pushed off the ground with in one graceful movement and landed on the roof above her without making a sound. She walked across the brown shingles and stopped when she reached the eighth window on the roof. Pushing the window open, she jumped through the small opening and waited for the boy to enter.
"Alright," she said. "Tell me your name and tell what the hell is wrong with your head. Do you have a death wish? You should know that Kirigakure, of all places, is not very welcoming to strangers." |

Zero easily cleared the jump and landed evenly in her room. He looked around. It was nice. He sat down. He sighed. "My name is Zero Kaji. Like I said, i'm trying to get home. And besides, I can more than take care of myself. And as for the cut...." Zero looked away from her before he spoke again. "This is a wound. To help me forget how weak I was before I went on my...journey." Zero said, laying his katana down. He layed back. "So, I've told you my name, whats your name?" Zero asked, with little interest.

Rina shook her head at the boy's careless attitude for his safety. She turned away from him, swinging her dark locks over her shoulder, and sat down on a honey colored couch. The window they had entered led to the living room; it was decent sized, but there wasn't anything special about it. The walls were white and covered with pictures of herself, family, and friends. An old newspaper was open on the coffee table in front of the couch along with a beat-up copy of the Hidden Mist's Bingo Book.
"The name's Rina. Yajuu Rina," she said, picking up the book and flipping through its pages. She set it down again after a moment and ran her fingers through her hair. "So let me guess... You left your village on a journey to get stronger blah blah blah. And now you want to return to prove yourself." She shook her head again. |

Zero closed his eyes and smirked. "It's not so simple. I went on my journey not for power. Just the opposite. What I set out to do would make me weaker. But it was necessary. The old power I had was corrupting me. If I didnt get rid of it...I would have turned into a monster. But what I didnt expect when I got rid of it is that I gained something. Something strong." Zero said. He made a small tornado in his hand. He held up his hand and showed it to Rina. Then at a wave of his hand it dissipated, leaving nothing. "I can't tell you everything, cause I dont entirely trust you. Besides, you probably wouldnt believe me anyways."

Rina raised a dark brow in interest as Zero created the small cyclone of air. So he could control air... Or air currents. It wasn't a jutsu because he hadn't made any hand signs. Maybe it was a kekkei genkkai. Rina's mind went in circles trying to decipher his skill. "Well that is neat little trick ya got there," she commented.
He couldn't entirely trust her, HA! The brunette laughed out loud at this comment. "If you can't trust me then why the hell did you follow me here! Silly boy. But, you might not be as dumb as you look." She laughed again.
Rina stretched her slender arms above her head and stood up from the couch. She walked through a round arch into the next room, the kitchen. She grabbed a bowl of strawberries from the refrigerator and returned to the living room, sitting down in the same spot with the bowl resting on her lap. Popping a few berries into her mouth, the juice lightly staining her lips, she chewed slowly in thought. "Now tell me," she said after a while. "How exactly does that trick with the wind work?" |
